Food Terminal Incorporated Special Economic Zone: Amenities

     Presidential Proclamation No. 626 creates and designates the so-called parcels of land situated at the FTI Complex as a special economic zone pursuant to Republic Act No. 7916 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748. 

   Food Terminal Incorporated is an industrial estate located at East Service Road, South Superhighway, Taguig City. It was a priority project of then Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos to revolutionize the agricultural sector of the country.

     Food Terminal Incorporated (FTI) is one of the largest industrial complexes in Metro Manila. The Agro- Industrial-Commercial Estate was envisioned to trigger the entry of private entrepreneurs at the vast leaseable portions of the FTI site and to create a conducive business atmosphere essential to the development of the complex.

     Today, FTI leases lots not only for agricultural development, but also for electronic raw materials and other business endeavors.
